The Givenchy brand was founded by Hubert de Givenchy and belongs to the French association Fédération française de la couture. According to Hubert’s design, Givenchy was favored by the nobility. In particular, when actress Audrey Hepburn was an ambassador for Givenchy, the brand got more attention. After Hubert retired in 1995, Givenchy continued to succeed at the hands of many famous young designers and talents such as John Galliano (January 1996), Alexander McQueen (October 1996), Julien MacDonald (3 / 2001) and Riccardo Tisci (March 2005). Starting here, Givenchy has made a name for itself with ready-made products for both men and women. In addition, this brand is one of the famous brands of LVMH Group. In 1952, Givenchy launched the Les Séparables collection with a number of floating skirts and puffed dresses made of coton material and was dubbed the “great first collection”. Famous models like Suzy Parker, Ivy Nicholson and Dorian Leigh became the company’s muse. At the request of innovation, Givenchy used “shirts”, a coton material on similar paper, to create a simple and luxurious fashion collection. In 1954, Hubert de Givenchy presented the first dress. He is a high-end fashion designer, creating a line of ready-made products called “Givenchy Université”, made in Paris, using imported machinery from the United States.
